This is Alvaranox and Kirra, from my serialized fantasy novel The Black Collar. Alvaranox is the dragon, enslaved by the power of the titular Black Collar to protect a frontier town. Alv is also the main POV character of the novel. Kirra, the woman, is one of his few friends, and the person responsible for his well-being.
